Those provincial, miserably uninformed simpletons detest blacks, women, and anyone with teeth more than literacy. They are caught in a time warp and some probably still believe Bill Clinton is still president. I believe they just got the telegraph yesterday. In a state where having hot, kinky sex with your cousin and a GED are status symbols, I would hardly call winning West Virginia a victory of upmost importance. Such constituencies are particularly susceptible to voting against their own economic and political self-interests out of petty emotion. For example, West Virginians vigorously supported Bush in 2004, a money republican from Connecticut, because Karl rove, realizing that terrorism in West Virginia is a sale that not even he's capable of, instead got same-sex marriage on the ballot. In short, it's just such a shame to see an intelligent person as Hillary play to the lowest common denominator just to sabotage Obama's chances, ensuring a McCain victory and positioning herself for 2012 when McCain is way too old to win reelection.
