Lower your Cholesterol Naturally

The best way to lower your cholesterol in your body is to eat cholesterol and to keep your insulin level normal. To the contrary, if you want to raise your cholesterol: Consume excess carbohydrates, while decreasing cholesterol intake. This guarantees a steady overproduction of cholesterol within the body.

When you do not eat cholesterol you body sees this as deprivation and “famine”. Insulin is then signaled to tell the liver to activate the enzyme HMG Co-A Reductase that begins to over produce cholesterol from the carbohydrates you eat. When you eat sufficient cholesterol this enzyme is blocked by the liver.

The body responds to elevated insulin levels by over producing cholesterol. High insulin levels are caused by stress, dieting, caffeine, alcohol, aspartame, tobacco, steroids, lack of exercise, stimulants, drugs, and eating a diet insufficient in proteins and healthy fats while eating excess or processed carbohydrates.
